"Appearances are Deceiving"
William brings much more than understanding autism, he is a bridge between autistic and non-autistic people and beyond that a bridge for anyone who is seeking personal evolution. See the charming video of a son with Asperger's interviewing his mom on William's May 18, 2010 blog, he says people with Asperger's tend to be Warriors. And a trip to New Jersey to meet parents who started their own school making a comfortable environment for autistic kids. He had lovely and adoring exchanges with two young people, what they demonstrated was powerful, yet to the uninitiated they would seem severely limited based on appearances. And some kids talked to him about their paranormal experiences. Working as a clairvoyant professionally for six years now he recently created a class on developing personal intuition as he uses his abilities so much in his work and sees no reason why anyone can't tap into this and find their spiritual gifts and talents and be of service to others. A story of divine intervention from a tape recording and free will, another about the AH-HA! moment, his encounter with a Praying Mantis on his screen door, and pictures of orbs... keep in mind he is skeptical, "not everything is something," but he sure does have cool stories! And he has a lovely message for BTO listeners with his appreciation and gratitude.

"Cool Bill"
("Inside story" ...on a previous program we told him he was really cool, he said in his serious way, that he had never been called cool - his next e-mail had the Subject: From Cool Bill. That he is!) We hear of his exciting interview on Buffalo NY News, and a nervous young man who shined to the world, a courageous initiation. William employs what he has discovered within himself, accessing spiritual gifts to help others, fabulous gifts helping many, regardless of distance... He knows and wants you to know everyone has these abilities, it is not about being special. Evolving one's state of being with purity and transparency does not come easily without the will and intent to change and deal with what hinders us. He speaks about his evolution and how he made the shift in attitude, a presence within, and the magic happening every day. Plus this time, Nancy had a story for him, and Cool Bill loved it! He has a passion to learn how non-autistic people perceive autism so he can continue to close that gap between the two. We are not separate but we all are unique!

"Another Kind of Freedom"
The third book in the trilogy is out! "The Autism Prophecies: How an Evolution of Healers and Intuitives is Influencing Our Spiritual Future." People who are considered severely impaired share great intelligence, wisdom, and insight into the human condition, will we learn from them? Bill says this is his last book on this subject "I have said all I can say, know, on Autism, I now leave it to others." He is receiving email from all over the world about the book and it was a great risk to release this information, there is far out stuff in his book! "My books are about unlimited possibilities, the final frontier is inner space.." When Star Trek NG ended "Q" said the final frontier is the mind. This book also touches on quantum physics, a place of all potentials, example of a child "elopement" (the term for such occurrences in autistic children) found in a location too far away for him to run there in the time elapsed, an example of perception in the car wash, and how Bill and the dog see the vacuum cleaner. We get a hint that Bill has gone out on a limb as he says, "Empires are making billions of dollars on Autism, I am a threat to that industry." On to the semi invisible, not everything is something and we don't go overboard but, there are orbs, the unseen --a photo with an 11yr old boy and other stories. The purity of emotions and senses in the autistic child is much like the same purity in animals, a natural knowingness, however in children that purity makes them vulnerable and perfect victims of "ghosts & demons" which Bill explains, and an urgent thing to consider. This can happen to any kid and also adults, he has two examples, are they hallucinating? No. The time, indications, and reactions are too similar. Bill has been logging this phenomena for a year --he explains its different forms, how to recognize, how it manifests, and how the 'spillover' begins to affect the whole household over time if there is no understanding or remedy applied. Bill has developed a protocol to identify and break what is a terrifying cycle.

"Extraordinary Wisdom in Unlikely Places"
The preview of his new book "The Autism Prophesies: How an Evolution of Healers and Intuitives is Influencing Our Spiritual Future" is awesome! This will be the third book in the spiritual trilogy connecting autism and spirituality, available April 2010. After 10 years of researching this subject he finds the reticence to acknowledge peoples' intellect has given rise to a culture of fear of 'us and them'. "It's not a fear of our collective differences, it's a fear of confronting our similarities." Stories of appearances of autistic behavior where adults are quick to judge or reach a conclusion, such as kids suddenly having a tantrum in the car to the point the parents have to pull over, only to find out they missed a multi car accident just up the road. He points out examples of our own autistic behaviors, in his talks he tells people, "you are going to leave here today knowing your own autism." The recently published book, "Empowered Autism Parenting: Celebrating (and Defending) Your Child's Place in the World", is wonderful! He urges parents, you've got to reclaim your children! Represent them and be a parent rather than turn over your parental rights to a multi billion dollar industry that will "treat" autism. "It's not about taking a pill." William's recognition is growing, he also now writes a blog on the Huffington Post, we want to see him on Larry King! Spiritual warfare may sound far fetched but it isn't. William was skeptical at first but not after what he has witnessed where ill intended entities seize upon and terrorize sensitive autistic kids, and how the retaliation manifests when he helps people protect themselves, it's a serious problem. William has evolved his life by embarking upon an path of enlightenment and truth, confronting himself and illuminating the dark side. "I think that's why I'm able to do what I do." Parents can give him a picture of a child and he can tell them all about that child. "That's really sensitive, I've awakened what was dormant in me. I'm no one special, we all have that potential." He wishes people knew this more as so much good could come from it.

"A Remarkable Bridge To Hope"
Being acutely excruciatingly sensitive, William bears considerable discomfort to travel and speak about autism. Observing disconnected people and how they treat each other is very difficult to the point where he looses sleep... he is not alone in this but most of us have a filter. There is a section in his book devoted to this progressive disregard, "I think people emulate what they see, and that impacts people's behavior and conduct." A media fixated society of the haves and have not's and the 'Messiah complex' it's all me, me, me. What makes it all worth it for him is at each talk at least one person reverses their view on autism. Is this worldwide phenomena an evolutionary process to get people back on track with their spiritual nature? Last fall he gave a talk to a group of minority parents, his main message "your children are beautiful!" The response was overwhelming, men sobbed, the guilt, shame, and stigma of having an autistic child runs deep, William's view gives them permission to see the beauty without feelings of disgrace. "This culture of fear perpetrated upon autism must be eradicated." Being in both worlds, William is indeed a remarkable bridge to hope and although difficult at times, he would never want to loose his sensitivity ...but think not that he is without humor, feeling rejuvenated by our conversation he says, "This is me on fire now!" because his reactions are 'quiet' he had to tell us he was not only rested but excited! Delightful! His simple, articulate, sincere, thinking uplifts us all.

"The Ripple Effect"
A listener's question about a 13 year old diagnosed with ADHD leads to advice that all parents should hear. A grandmother who presumed intellect, one of William's fundamental tenets, and the effect of this on the infant she was holding, hmmm, maybe this applies to everybody! "Let's Not Eradicate, Let's Celebrate!"
There is much misdiagnosing, where autism is blamed for behavior actually stemming from other mental health reasons ...his book uncovers uncharted territories with multiple layers to explore. The results from his one day workshops on this topic, William calls it a new psychiatric paradigm, are life changing. People acutely sensitive are terribly susceptible to outside influences, unlike neuro-typical or "normal" people, whose fear and disdain regarding autistics even manifests in church! "We compartmentalize what we don't understand. ...and we value physical beauty, but at what price?" William demystifies this for us in his first book where he bears his soul. Also... the naivety of innocence, no fear, not running away... but towards something... water, which to autistics is extremely important, the closest earthly thing to the fluidity of being in spirit again. A disorder to be cured? "I'm not broken, don't fix me!"

"Presume Intellect"
William's mantra and prominent in his book, "Autism and the God Connection." In childhood he experienced abuse for being different, as well as other occurrences, thoughts, he could not explain. When later he discovered that he had a mild form of autism, it led him to finding countless stories of the same gifted propensities and psychic experiences. Autism has been pathologized to the point that many parents regard it as a death sentence and some even perceive their child being at the level of a dog. Yet many more consider their autistic child a gift, and Bill is passionate about their ability to teach us much, if we just release thinking of autism as an 'affliction.' ...then we find out about his other passion, "The Wizard of Oz" and its mystical themes.
