"Being a Responsible Captain of Your Ship!" As we approach 2012 we get down to the serious questions sent for him: What if the Gov comes to my place and confiscates all my stored food and supplies? This is a really big subject that Steven covers with several scenarios that can happen depending on your situation. For some time now the Gov has redefined citizens who store food and prepare to keep their families safe, as potential terrorists! Steven explains the mind set we face with this and gives us the A B C Plan to avoid or at least limit such confiscations as well as being detained yourself. Also scenarios of false flags, military power, and your plan. The biggest point is to not be in fear. More on Plan B and what you will need including for erupting volcanoes. Next is about having chickens, inexpensive coop, stopping predators, etc. Steven describes how to do this with salvaged materials and recommends his favorite type of hens. The truth about nuclear radiation is not being told, how to reduce the effects, the toxicity in brand new cars' interiors, a terrible environment, get yourself a pre 80s car instead. How to be discrete and not make yourself a target. He also has defense classes for women and men, a two day weekend class at $100/day, come to one or both days. "Be a responsible Captain of your Ship, it means your life and your future." The main thing is to be observant, present, focused, and keep a light heart! |

"How About Some Real Common Sense?" Steven just loves living what he knows, and he's happy to share that with you. We start with common sense, what that means and what it's not. You are part of nature too and you can observe it and know what is going on, it is a living consciousness, a new way of living. Does anybody think they are done preparing? Here's what you may not have thought of doing, start thinking broader! If a catastrophe doesn't happen do you have an attitude? How to avoid problems. Steve's challenge to everyone -to help other people in your community. While we are alive we are never done preparing. "I want you to imagine that you are living in the greatest science fiction thriller adventure movie ever made because we are!" With that attitude you gain balance and take responsibility of your role in the movie, and how your thriller comes out the way you want it to be. Next all about what is the safest way to cook in your UG. One question we have never been asked... what to do with trash? This is a big deal and a way to make a plan. Steven loves the micro world, EM (Effective Microbes) are key to have for the future and why. There can be trash everywhere, just take a look at what is coming are way from Japan. And many more tips to think about as we all are on a leaning curve here. So stay happy and make your journey a fun and light hearted successful journey! |

"An Outline of Survival Scenarios" First we report to Steven that his fire starter is awesome, simple, reliable, easy, and costs practically nothing. We were jazzed that we made a roaring fire out in the open and in the rain! Steven changes insecurity into confidence with the tools, equipment, skills, and knowledge you need starting with the short term 72 hour survival to long term self sufficient living. Being in immediate danger and the things you need, why people perish within the first 72 hours and how to prevent that outcome. For long term survival he adds additional skills and finding sources of food and water. "Human nature, DNA, has fear programmed in it already from eons of survival and we learn to use it in a constructive way." There is no way around fear but with confidence, skill, and ability you can control that and surf that wave! "It's the ability to see things as they are." Steven brings clarity to the confusion about fear for those who think preparing creates more fear and brings on bad things. Another important thing is caching and how that works so you have multiple options. Ten skills people need, don't be overwhelmed! How he handles people who come to him who are overwhelmed, diminishing the paralysis and motivating as "I don't know..." is an awful state. He recommends studying the skills of the 1800s and early 1900s, and gives a great list of geniuses to look up who did amazing things, we never needed oil! Much more including the disciplines of physical health longevity and self defense. "Everything I'm telling you I have done!" |

"An Elegant Way to Live" The compression of time and short window in which to become prepared. Much of the world is already in this and in great need. How to get knowledge and get out and do it before it comes to you. Avoid getting caught in stone age living, Steve's way of living is anything but primitive and so in tune with nature's gifts! Anyone near a forest has a gold mine out there! Steven shows us two types of liken, one has remarkable medicinal properties, the other powerful nutritional properties. Food is everywhere when you can recognize it, even downtown fruit falls to the ground and rots yet we go to the store and buy apples? The skills and elements of long-term living, and the transition towards it. It's an elegant way of life, much healthier, self reliant, and creates a new comfort zone. Remember, not the Gov, no one, will come and do it for you and your family, it's an individual responsibility. Anti-Gravity was known in the 18th century, high tech alternative energy technology has been suppressed in our fractured society, and more examples of this, there is so much out there. Everything you learn opens up to other things exponentially. And the notion of looking at 7 generations ahead, a powerful concept! |

"The Profound Relationship with Nature" We are delighted to include Steven in our preparedness series, he brings a wealth of skill and knowledge from his own life experience. With a mother part Cherokee and an outdoorsman father Steven grew up on the side of nature and as an adult spent 10 years in the most remote wilderness that he could find with wild animals and wild rivers. Why? "I wanted to!" He explains how he did it and though he doesn't like the word survival as it sounds like fear and that is not his approach, he uses it because it can come to that, but knowledge of self sufficient skills is a loving thing to learn. His classes have now come out in his first [set of DVDs,] in teaching butchering his profound reverence for all of life truly shows. With learning many skills comes the understanding that we are connected to nature and have a relationship with it, "It's a spiritual dance with all life." Nature does not have an attitude as we do, our polarity doesn't belong in nature and he tells stories of this with the animals he encounters. Most people cannot survive 3 days in nature, and how easy it is to make a vital mistake even in what appears to be a safe environment. "Human beings don't do well under pressure, so don't let your learning curve be the real thing!" He loves working with children, they are natural scientists until someone tells them otherwise, butchering shows we are much more than bodies, the chicken is alive and then it is just parts same as our parts. The cool part? The children get it! And, as with his DVDs, there's much more! |
