Jennifer Slater Braun Young and smart, a business and finance manager, who says "my only real accomplishment is going to RSE" ahhh but what she has done with that! An only child, her mother would tell her "whatever you want to do you can do!" This is the joy of growing up with a parent who sees a higher way, plus Jennifer, an avid reader and not much connected in the high school social scene, it simply didn't appeal as time was better spent with a book than idle "chit-chat." Still, even being unconcerned with that fine line of political acceptance that everyone "fits into" she did have her challenges with the chemicals of emotions and saw that one of the biggest was judgement.
Her mother's graduation present to her was a Beginning Retreat at Ramtha's school, with her mom who until then had only read and listened to Ramtha's teachings, waiting to assure that should both attending were not possible, her daughter would have that opportunity (however Carol applied her own advice and did it!). Jennifer found the school and students to be a support system enabling individuality and growth. One of the many things she learned at RSE aligned with what she had always felt to be true, that emotions are chemical, and she began to "own" them to find in their absence what is our natural state of joy. "Knowledge gives you the support and permission to change... I learned that I was still participating in judgement... there are two types of speaking your truth..." You will hear her speak about that with great perception.
Jennifer and BTO host Elena happened to be "turn to your neighbor and explain" partners at a school event, Jennifer is delightful, untethered, intelligent, sincere in her engagement with the Great Work, and *so there.*
