Diana Kingdon is articulate and a fabulous writer, as you will see when you visit her Blog, and we are delighted she joins us as BTO's UK Correspondent.

As a child, she had a deep interest in astronomy, the unexplained, and what become known later as exopolitics. At 17, she won a science fair ribbon showing how bacteria could grow in the Martian atmosphere. She is happy to report that recent findings on Mars have proven that she wasn't such a space cadet after all!

Diana grew up in a bilingual and bicultural community in the Southwest US where she learned about spirituality through the rich traditions of her grandmothers and aunts. She has been on a conscious spiritual path for three decades. She went on to get a BA and an MA in English and it was toward the end of her Master's degree that she had a great awakening that would change the direction of her life forever. From then her life took on a deeper meaning as she embarked on a journey of self-discovery
She ended up travelling and studying with many pioneering spiritual teachers including Hilda Charlton, Alan Cohen, Sondra Ray, Leonard Orr and Ammachi, and has trained in various healing modalities including shamanic healing, Reiki, Rebirthing and EFT. But it has been the science of non-duality and the understanding of how our thoughts shape reality that have been the most powerful teachings for her.

Diana has worked as an educator, an editor, and an administrator among other things over the years.
She is a strong advocate for alternative education including homeschooling and unschooling both of which she used in raising her daughter who went on to graduate with joint honours from St Andrews University in Scotland and then with an M.A. from Oxford University.

Diana believes that laughter is a path toward enlightenment and often dances in her kitchen when no one is looking.

An ardent bibliophile, she lives in Southwest England where she does freelance editing and writing, reads too many books and blogs on politics and pop culture www.postscriptfromabroad.com. She lives in a cottage with a garden full of ducks, birds, owls and other assorted wildlife. Even though she lives in the UK, she is secretly carrying on a love affair with Paris, the City of Lights. And yes, she still gets homesick for America, apple pie and sweet potato fries from Burgerville.
